How it goes on the spot

  • From one run through it in Maldonado in 2026, the track took about 10 minutes and the city another 10 to 15. So the whole test came to roughly half an hour including the wait. The duration is not published officially, and this is one case, not a norm.
  • The person who took the test there in 2026 describes the city track by landmarks, not by an address: the driving circuit in the city of Maldonado itself, next to the Mautone supermarket, across from the hospital, by La Loma park. Almost all the city’s driving schools sit right there. That location still has no confirmation from the intendencia.

Important

  • There are several tracks in the department. Do not go by the first card in the maps app: the only officially published address is the Pan de Azúcar track, and it is not in the city of Maldonado.
  • Pan de Azúcar: the street running parallel to the south of Rincón, between Jacinto Vera and Aparicio Saravia avenue — the track moved here in May 2026 from the health center parking lot.
  • In the city of Maldonado itself no track address was ever published: the maps show Av. Franklin Delano Roosevelt, but that address has no confirmation from the intendencia.
  • Failing any part is failing the whole practical test: the maneuvers you passed are not carried over.
